Various Fitrana Rate are as follows
Oats: Rs 400
Dates: Rs1600
Raisins: Rs1920
The same rate (Rs. 100) for Sadqa-e-Fitr was set per head in 2018
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that
Islam obligates Muslims to pay the required amount before offering the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers, so that the needy and deserving can also make timely use of that money. According to the chairman, the head of a family is required to pay at least Rs100, on behalf of each of his dependents, agreeing to the price of wheat.
It is better to pay fitrana according to one's own financial capability but not less than Rs. 100 per head.
The Muslims who cannot fast due to any reason may also pay a bare minimum of Rs. 100 Fidya as compensation for each fast (Roza). If anyone cannot fast for the whole month, he/she should pay Rs. 3,000/-
equivalent to the price of flour.
Every year, the amount of Fitrana is normally fixed in accordance with the market price of 2.25 KG of flour.
However, Kufara for leaving all fasts is Rs. 6,000 for wheat.
It is the spirit of Ramadan to help a destitute person and that it would be better if such people are taken care of by paying their meal costs.
Wealthy peoples should extend their help and pay more, especially during high inflation rates.
